Pagan Magikal Activism

6-7pm.Plenary - Short talks and discussion about the different strands and what we have in common. Is magik changing consciousness at will? Does it work? etc.
Speakers: Steve (Hydra anfd Dionysian Underground), Jocelyn (Dionysian Underground and Serpent Institute), Adrian (Dragon network), Sean (Reclaiming and Hydra) and others. Exploring the ideas of Hakim Bey, deconstucting belief systems  and the carnivalesque approach to activism and social change.
7- 8pm. Playshop on Tools and Techniques. Sharing examples of actions. Discussion and practical demonstrations on how to ground ourselves, how to prevent burn out, how to raise energy, banish fear, protect etc.
8-9pm. Playshop on Equalizing Magic. Magik thats about dissolving rather than fighting hierarchies, magik that's not about power over, dualism (good against evil) or just personal stuff, but tuning in and equalising what needs to be re-balanced. Talk, discussion meditation and visualisation.
9-10pm. What is the carnivalesque approach? What is the philosophy behind it? How does it work?
This is a broad outline, and other groups and individuals are welcome to contribute.
We also plan to do some ceremonies /rituals in Red Lion square and elsewhere - details follow.
